On behalf of partners Marine Masters, I attended the salvage of the floating crane barge Donna Paula at an Indian Shipyard.
While lifting the floating crane the ship lift collapsed, leaving the crane barge in a perilous position.
Aided by local salvors and divers and Marine Masters’ own local shore coordinator, the floating crane was successfully refloated after removal of damaged structures and operating the ship lift using strand jacks.
The operation was conducted in close cooperation with our client, the shipyard, and their contractors.
