The vessel had caught fire, sank during the efforts to extinguish, suffered from failed wreck removal attempts, was a hazard to navigation and was the subject of a mediation proces between underwriters and salvors.

Our involvement was to consider the steps taken by salvors and advise on possible solutions to remove the wreck from it's location. This resulted in a successful mediation and the revised wreck removal operation resumed ensuring the wreck was finally moved and laid to rest at 4000 meter.
